I met my 2 clients on Monday at their house as they have busy working schedule: Francesco & Nathaliya. I actually met Nathaliya 6 years ago while I was working for STA Travel. I just came back from my Europe trip and did the Contiki tour. She sat with my friend who never done a Contiki so I educated them both. Nat ended booking with my friend and we became Facebook friend.
A few weeks back, Nat contacted me about their trip since she's seen my Facebook Ads and we organised the time to meet up. After our chat, not only both her, her fiance and family needed help with flights, they have between 50-70 friends from Sydney who would attend their wedding in Italy. They asked me to check out for some hotels near the venue however, I was requested to get the price ready by Friday 10th March so that they could put all the information on their website to let everyone knows. Me on panic mode.
At first I was a bit nervous as I wanted to make sure I impress them since they are my very 1st wedding couple. I got all the information about the hotels' price but thought about how I can present this to them in a way that they won't have to do too much work since they have booked their trip with me. Luckily, I learnt how to make my website via Wix and by playing around with the system, I kinda know a thing or two.
I then proceeded to search for a wedding template and play around with it. It took me 3-4 hours but in the end the final product came to live and I thought "I'm happy with this". Due to time constrained, I had to leave for an A/B testing training so I could only send them the mock up page.
First I was afraid that they would hate it but they ended up loving it! I just wanted to impress them, get my name out there and of course, establish my travel services. No I didn't have tear of joys but I'm very proud of myself as I don't think there is any travel agents I know out there that would go to this length..... Creating their clients' wedding site.... What the???? To me, doing this doesn't feel like working at all and it's been so much fun.
