Saturday 18th March @ 1:24am
Where do I start? A life of a Personal Travel Manager. Last Friday it was Pauline’s birthday and we celebrated at a roof top bar somewhere in the city. It was a lot of fun and Pauline and Katie were pimping me out to all their friends about my business which of course, I’m very grateful for.
Scott has his seminar on so we had to leave early. He has been very tired all weeks from waking up at 6am everyday for the past 3 weeks to work on this FR33EARTH thongs. He was grumpy but I turned that frown up side down by surprising him with an Adele’s ticket J He was a very happy boy.
Saturday dropped him off at his seminar then I dropped off Tom’s travel docs in Surry Hills then Nicole and her family. Initially I just wanted to just drop off their docs and take pictures so I can use it for marketing but come to think about it now, it was a nice feeling to do that regardless of the business side to be honest. I know it’s a nice thing and personal but it does make me feel good inside.
Sunday was an off day for me. I knew I was burnt out and I was in no way of functioning so I gave myself a day off. As much as I love what I do, I needed a break and I had to give myself one
Monday. Thinking that I can catch up with a few things from left behind To Do list but ended up getting new enquiries from Shane, Ivy and Andrew + a few things I needed to tidy up. As much as there are heaps to do but it didn’t feel like working. Every clients had different needs and I had to make sure everyone gets the best service not matter how small the booking is.
Fast forward, been working from 8am til late everyday which has paid off. Today I was burnt out but not to the point where I crash and burn but I’m nearly there. There was a few drama but I know it will pass and I’ll get over it eventually.
Actually last night ( Thursday) I went to the city to pick up the pocket wifi and JR pass for Pauline and hand delivered to her office. It was raining heavily but I was so happy in the moment. She even said she was impressed how organised I am lol. Then I went to Justin’s before Fruits in Suits ( Gay Business Networking) which I was very nervous 1st time but this was my 2nd so I was ok. I went to the event but this time wasn’t as good. To be honest I had a shit time but I learnt that the way I promote myself is much more efficient than networking with the LGBT. I felt like the event was more for a hook up than business to be honest which is a shame. I went back to Justin’s and Yen’s being upset but it is what it is.
Today I was working on different bookings and I had a few drama with my website but in the end, it was all good….. kind of. In the evening we just had take out, movie and chilled. I need to learn how to switch off. Good night.
